ROSACEA

WHAT IS ROSACEA?

Rosacea is a common but often misunderstood skin condition that can affect women and men of all ages. Characteristics of rosacea usually appear with flushing of the skin, redness, inflamed papules (tiny bumps), acneic looking or often broken capillaries throughout the cheek, nose and chin areas as the most common.

CAN ROSACEA BE TREATABLE?

Fortunately, yes. As there is no permanent or long term cure for rosacea, our ND-Yag Laser with a 1064 nm wavelength, provides effective treatments that allow small vascular vessels to coagulate with safe, controlled energy to the areas. This treatment reduces the size and intensity of the vessels. No topical anesthesia is required. If rosacea if left untreated, overtime, the areas may worsen and appear much more red and bumpy.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?

Treatment requirements vary per individual and the severity of the rosacea. One single treatment will deliver noticeable and satisfying results. If further treatments are required, the medical aesthetician and nurse on staff will assess and outline a affordable treatment plan and timeline for treatments.
