LUMENIS® IPL PHOTOREJUVENATION

The Lumenis® IPL Photorejuvenation treatment enables your skin specialist to offer you remarkable results on a range of skin concerns such as age and sun spots, freckles, birthmarks, rosacea and broken capillaries. Focusing its technology to improve areas of deep or superficial pigmentation and vascular imperfections, while improving the overall skin appearance, the Lumenis®  IPL with Optimal Pulse Technology (OPT™) enables customized treatment according to skin type and desired results, with maximum safety.

Light pulses penetrate the tissue and create heat, targeting the skin imperfection in a controlled manner. The body’s natural process then removes the treated tissue, while collagen and elastic fiber stimulation occurs, resulting in a visible improvement in skin tone and overall appearance.

IS IT SAFE?

Developed by the pioneer of aesthetic medicine and trusted by leading professionals around the world, the Lumenis® IPL Photorejuvenation treatment is FDA cleared. Always consult to ensure the safety of the treatment is correct for your skin types as other options are also available in clinic.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT?

Immediately following the treatment, the skin may experience some slight redness to the skin, varying on the depth required for treatment outcome. Minimal to no downtime with this treatment, skin may begin to gently shed a few days post treatment, while areas of pigmentation that may have darkened and raised to the surface will exfoliate itself or diminish more with a series of recommended treatments.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD TREATMENTS BE DONE?

Treatments will vary per individual and skin result to achieve. During a consultation the amount of treatments will be guided by your skin specialist. A series of 3 to begin are usually suggested to see a visible improvement, spacing the treatments 2-4 weeks apart depending on the area being treated and concern.
